Why don't you go on BGT, Xfactor or The Voice?

This question is quite an important one for me to answer as I get asked it...a lot!

Singing is a massive part of my life, as I'm sure you are aware and these programs do not promote true talent, they want a sob story. I find it isn't fair on people with true talent that busk or have a YouTube account that post original songs or covers and practice for hours that should go so far in this industry just for their talent.

When the three tenors were singing they never had these programs and yet everyone still knows their names, voices and music. They all worked hard, started from the bottom and worked up and they were all respected by their peers in the industry. Where are the winners now? Iv not heard Paul Potts in ages? or Diversity? or Susan Boyle?

And the winners of these programs get flung in to the lime light for 15 minutes and everything is on show for the press who want to know everything from your last meal to the colour of your socks and everything in between! I don't want my life to be in the limelight. I want to be comfortable and pay my mortgage. It may not be a rock and roll lifestyle but I am content with it.

I have a very close friend of mine who is a fantastic singer, actress and dancer called Ionica Adriana. She is constantly doing PR work for herself and friends. She tweets, blogs, checks-in, photographs, put Facebook statuses so people know who she is and what she is doing. I have never come across someone who works so hard for her career.

Whenever I see her enthusiasm and dedication to getting her big break it empowers me to do the same. She has given me tips and advise for social media and pictures that I wouldn't even know where to start on.

Good things come to those who wait...right? Well good things come to those who work hard for it. That feeling is why I do what I do time after time.
